Join our pre/post conference selected tours to learn about the tremendous potential Israel has to offer as one of the most fascinating destinations in the world.

Tours are offered before IAPCO 2023 opens on Sunday, February 5, or after the conference closes on Friday, February 10.

 

Please note that a group to open requires a minimum of 10 registrants per tour.

JERUSALEM & BETHLEHEM

Visit the historic city of Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, and explore fascinating sights including the Church of the Nativity, Manger Square and Shepherd’s Field. Conclude the tour with a visit to the Haas Promenade and soak in its panoramic view of the city and the breathtaking Kidron Valley – where it is said that God showed Abraham where his descendants would one day build the Holy City. If time permits, dive deep into Holocaust Remembrance at Yad Vashem – the world’s largest Holocaust Museum in memory of the 6 million Jews murdered by the Nazis. Continue to Mount Zion and tour the high priest Caiaphas’ House. Carry on to the Upper Room and Tomb of King David. Enter the extraordinary Old City from Jaffa Gate. Walk through the oriental bazaars leading up to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue along the Via Dolorosa, stopping at St. Anne’s Church and the Pools of Bethesda. Stroll through the buzzing marketplace to the Western Wall and view the Old City’s sacred esplanade, Temple Mount.

DEAD SEA & MASADA

Embark into the Judean wilderness and enjoy a scenic ride down to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Descend to the ancient caves of Qumran where the miraculous Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Drive on to Masada, a notable fortress and popular tourist site on the edge of the barren Negev Desert and tour the last stronghold and stand of the zealots against Rome. Ascend and descend the extensive site by cable car.

Take a lunch break and relax along the beautiful shores of the Dead Sea. Treat yourself to the unique experience of floating in the dead sea’s high-salinity water.  (towel, shower, and beach entrance not included).

TEL AVIV JAFFA CAESAREA

Join us along the Mediterranean coast for a visit to the ancient city of Caesarea, which inherits its name after Augustus Caesar who imposed the tax that brought Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem. Visit Caesarea National Park and tour the antique Crusader fortress ruins built upon this modern city by Herod the Great.

Continue the tour with a visit to Old Jaffa. Walk through the famous cobblestoned alleyways full of landmarks, galleries, restaurants, theaters, and museums, and visit the home of Simon the Tanner.

Your route will take you along Tel Aviv’s iconic Rothschild Boulevard, known for its large collection of historic buildings from the Bauhaus era (a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site). Visit the Neve Tzedek neighborhood, an oasis of tranquility in the bustling city with its narrow streets and unique boutiques and shops. Conclude the day with a visit to the Sarona Market – a newly renovated complex in the heart of Tel Aviv.  Originally a German Templar Colony, today the site is known as a center for culinary excellence and serves as a one-stop- shop for boutique stores, entertainment, artist galleries, quaint cafes, and some of the city’s hottest chef restaurants and bars.

TOURISM CANCELLATION POLICY

Refund of payments made towards tourism services will be refunded if written notification reaches the Conference Secretariat by email at olga@ortra.com as follows:

  • Until January 4, 2023 – Full refund with a deduction of US$ 30 handling fee
  • From January 5, 2023, until January 11, 2022 – a 50% refund
  • From January 12, 2023 – No refunds on cancellations
